Technology helps trainees learn in-demand skills and grow a career path

My motivation in undertaking the Microsoft Traineeship was about being able to improve my own skill set and be able to grow a career path. The main underlying reason, personally, for me though would be about setting the example for my children. I have two boys. Being able to show them that if there is something you want in life, if you work hard for it, you're still able to achieve the dreams that you want to. Microsoft and nonprofit partners are training jobseekers in the skills they need to succeed. The teaching that we've received as part of our program, the support that I received from my employer, and the support we received from Microsoft, it's basically second to none. This program's taught me that I'm able to mold my life in the way that I want. I've been given the tools to achieve that. It will set me up for whatever may occur. Basically, that's the way of the future. Together, we can get people back to work.
